After riding this wave of life for ___ (insert your age here) years already - you’d think we could master it with ease and simplicity by now, right? {Queue sarcastic laugh} > HA! <
Life has a crazy way of keeping us on our toes, forever changing, rocking us with adversity and continuously pushing our boundaries.
But there is *one* constant throughout it all.
And that's how you view yourself.
Because at the end of the day, YOU are the common denominator for every aspect of your life.
That’s why your inner work is the single most important work you could ever do in your life.
Here’s my blissfully bold guarantee: When you focus on healing yourself and growing your worth, everything in your life will improve.
And I don’t say that lightly.
So how do you even begin to start growing your self-worth and loving yourself no matter what?
Let me start by saying you don’t need validation from anything or anyone else. >>> STOP looking out and START looking within.
From someone who has created an abundant career in self-love and self-development, I’m popping in today to give you two simple tips to help learn to love yourself unconditionally.
Tip #1: Self-forgiveness. We’ve all made mistakes - pretty bad ones at that. We’ve said things we wish we could take back, we acted poorly, and we’ve lashed out. But you see, life has a way of forgiving and forgetting over time- and it’s *US* that needs to do the same.
Forgive yourself of your past. Have a frank conversation with yourself as your head hits your pillow tonight. This conversation is crucial, so you aren’t condemning yourself for the rest of your life - it will help you remove the shame, blame, and guilt that’s holding yourself back. I challenge you to treat yourself with kindness every day - after all, you already treat everyone else this way, so why not start with yourself? And after your personal chi-chat, try taking up meditation to close out your evenings. You are a beautiful soul love… I can see it, but can you?
Tip #2: G-R-A-T-I-T-U-D-E.
Be grateful for where you’re at today, even if it’s not where you thought you’d be five years ago. Know that this is your path, and this is exactly where you’re supposed to be. Reflect on what you did today from the goodness of your heart. Did you help someone, compliment someone, offer your time to someone? I’m willing to bet that you did something selfless today and you may not be immediately aware of it. Give yourself gratitude for how you’re showing up and how you’re carrying yourself - you are doing GOOD THINGS!
Your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you can have in your life.
> Every outcome in your life is reflected by your personal relationship.
> Your daily activities, your other relationships, your bank account, your health - its all influenced by YOU.
So I ask you, my friend, what’s getting in your way from loving yourself no matter what?
